National Service
In Kansas, more than 9,400 people participate in national service each year through 62 projects and programs. This year, the Corporation for National and Community Service will commit more than $8,000,000 to support Kansas’ national service initiatives.
National service refers to the Corporation's National Service programs: Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America. Participants in these programs address community needs such as education, the environment, public safety and disaster relief.
