National Service

In North Dakota, more than 4,900 people participate in national service each year through 13 projects and programs. This year, the Corporation for National and Community Service will commit more than $2,500,000 to support North Dakota’s national service initiatives.

National service refers to the Corporation's National Service programs: Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America. Participants in these programs address community needs such as education, the environment, public safety and disaster relief.
