Generation X Volunteer Rate: Between 2008 and 2010, the average national volunteer rate for Generation X was 28.6% per year. During the same timeframe, average Generation X volunteer rates for large cities ranged from 15.1% to 39.0%. Rankings are based on a three-year moving average.
