Millennial Volunteer Rate: Between 2006 and 2008, the average national volunteer rate for Millennials was 21.2% per year. During the same timeframe, average Millennial volunteer rates for large cities ranged from 12.1% to 32.4%. Rankings are based on a three-year moving average. New Orleans, LA and Raleigh, NC were not included in the Millennial Volunteer Rate rankings due to sample size issues.
